Introduction – Reflecting on the Past 10 Weeks and Giving Back

  • Encourage children to reflect honestly on their journey over the past ten weeks. Support them in thinking deeply about how their choices have impacted their energy, mood, and overall well-being.

Guide them through writing their letter to themselves, helping them use clear, positive language. Finally, assist them with uploading their book to the Upschool Library and celebrate their achievement of sharing their learning with the world.

Now that you have taken part in nine weeks of understanding how the decisions we make around sleep, diet, and connection can impact how you feel and how your body works, acts, and moves, it’s time to reflect on how you feel after this amazing journey.

To conclude this course, we are going to ask you to answer three questions about what you will take away. We are also going to give you an opportunity to write a letter to yourself that you can read in the future about what you have learned, how your body works, and how much you can control how you feel. Finally, you’ll have the chance to upload your book to the Upschool Library and order your very own copy!

Having the knowledge to shape your own life is wonderful, but sharing it with others is the greatest gift we can give.

Let’s do it!

Reflecting on What You Have Learned!

  • Encourage children to be honest and thoughtful in their reflections. Prompt them to think about their personal growth, the areas where they can continue to improve, and the questions they still have. Remind them that learning is a journey that never truly ends, and help them add this page to their Healthy Habits booklet as a celebration of how far they’ve come.

In this activity, we are going to ask you to reflect on what you have learned about yourself, what you still need to keep working on, and what questions you still have for your teacher. Just because you have completed the course doesn’t mean the learning is over. Learning never stops – you are all lifelong learners, which means seeking answers to the universe’s biggest questions as the world around you changes.

Use the card to reflect on this term’s learning and your feelings, and then add this page to your Healthy Habits booklet as the final page.

I learned that when I get enough sleep and eat healthy food, I feel happier and have more

A Letter to Your Future Self

  •  In this activity, students will write a letter to their future selves reflecting on what they’ve learned about healthy habits, including sleep, nutrition, and caring for their minds and bodies. This activity encourages self-awareness, positive goal setting, and long-term thinking, helping children recognise that the choices they make now can shape their future wellbeing, confidence, and happiness.

Good habits are everlasting, and they will help you live a long and meaningful life with a clear mind and a healthy body and soul. We are now going to ask you to compose a letter to your future self, then seal it in an envelope and write on the front – Open me when you’re 25 years old.

In the letter, remind yourself of how you feel now after making these amazing life changes. Share your reflections so that you can keep these good habits going for the rest of your life. Use my example to help you, and then click the template to guide you in writing to yourself as an adult.

Be honest, be brave, and be creative. Your future self is depending on you.

Upload Your Book! And Order a Copy

  • Guide students through the process of uploading their book to the Upschool Library, helping them follow the steps carefully. Encourage them to take pride in sharing their work with others and explain how ordering a personal copy is a way to celebrate their learning and remind themselves of the healthy habits they’ve developed. Support any technical questions and help them reflect on their journey as they finish this final task.

Now that you have completed your Healthy Habits booklet, your job is to upload it to the Upschool Library so others can read it digitally for free and learn how to look after their bodies. You can also order a copy to be delivered to your home.

You have worked hard this term to improve your physical and mental health, and celebrating by getting a hardback version of your book is a wonderful way to keep your guide to a happier, healthier you forever.

Use the button below and follow the instructions on the task card opposite to download and upload your booklet to the library before ordering your very own copy!

The Final Quiz! A Healthier You!

  •  In this final activity, students will complete a quiz on maintaining a healthy mind and body as their final assessment. This quiz helps consolidate what they’ve learned over the course and gives them a chance to earn a certificate celebrating their hard work and growth. Support students by encouraging them to read each question carefully and remind them that this is a way to show how much they’ve learned about keeping themselves happy, healthy, and strong.

Now it’s time to take your final quiz on having a healthy mind and body! This is your chance to show everything you’ve learned and to earn your final certificate.

Read each question carefully, do your best, and remember this quiz is just one more step in your journey to keeping yourself happy, healthy, and strong. Good luck – you’ve got this!
