Why Choose This Course?
This one-week course challenges students to help Mrs. Pickering plan a family holiday on a tight budget. Children will compare three vacation options by calculating hidden expenses, estimating daily costs, and managing the total budget. Beyond the math, they will evaluate ethical choices to ensure the trip is fair, enjoyable, and relaxing for the whole family. By the end of the week, students will use data analysis and logical reasoning to write a persuasive financial report and design a fully budgeted holiday of their own.
