Rewild Your World - Why Biodiversity Matters( High School )

This ten week course explores biodiversity and ecosystem services and supports students to understand why biodiversity matters by investigating ecosystems, analysing human impact, and taking informed action to protect and restore their local environment through research, reflection and changemaker projects.

Why Choose This Course?

Rewild the World is a ten-week, project-based learning journey that supports students to understand how individual and collective actions can positively impact biodiversity and local environments. Inspired by the life and work of Dr Jane Goodall, students learn that caring for nature begins with curiosity, responsibility and informed action.

Across the course, students investigate biodiversity, explore local habitats and ecosystem services, design and implement rewilding actions, and share their learning to inspire others. The course develops scientific thinking, environmental stewardship and global citizenship through meaningful, real-world experiences.
