Why Choose This Course?
This 10-week course takes children on an immersive journey through the Himalayan mountains, where they will learn firsthand from the Sherpa people. As we make our way to the base camp of Mount Everest, students will explore the traditions, values, and way of life of this resilient community.
Following this experience, children will choose a civilization or culture of their own and conduct independent research, using our journey as a model. They will compile their findings into a book called ‘Cultures Around the World’ to educate others about their chosen culture. To conclude, students will design and deliver a lesson to younger children, sharing their knowledge and fostering cross-generational learning.
